2025 PA Firefly Festival Campout Highlights
Here are some highlights of the PAFF Campouts on June 26, 27 and 28. Over 120 Campers came from all over the US including Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia, and of course Pennsylvania. We had very warm and muggy weather with intermittent showers that only impacted Friday's dinner hour and opening ceremony. The fireflies loved the temperatures and put on a great show on the Kellettville Bridge. Later as the nights got darker, the fog rolled in and subdued the synchronous fireflies, but that's nature. Over 30 Volunteers worked tirelessly this year to provide a unique and immersive experience for the campers. We thank each and everyone for their dedication. This wouldn't have been possible without them.
